This reminds me of an old piece of wood that's been 

subjected to the whims of Mother Nature and aging.

But along with the interesting textures of aging, I've added

some "bling".  The painting has an overall shimmer

achieved with gold metallic paint which shows

itself when the light or the angle is just right.
