Nancy: This is a very well composed, engaging piece -- lots for the eye to explore. I notice that you have achieved what Bob Rankin, a Raleigh abstract painter, calls the uneven edge ratio. It keeps the eye from easily leaving the picture.
I couldn't find your email, so I'm replying to you here. Thanks so much for the kind words. I Googled Bob Rankin to see what his work is like. I will research the "uneven edge ratio" to see what it's about. I suspect I already know it as something else, but it will be interesting to look it up. Always something new to learn. Thanks again
Nancy: Check out a Bob Rankin video on Jerrys Artarama website at: http://www.jerrysartarama.com/Jerrys-Videos/Free-Art-Lessons/Bob-Rankin-FAL-Edge-Ratio.htm
